Dear City of Maple Grove

Dear City of Maple Grove - more specifically neighbors on Berkshire Way,

It is fall and while I absolutely love having all of my windows open during the day, there are a few things I ask of you - during the hours of 12:30 - 2:30 (my son's nap time) could you please:
  1. Not mow your lawn, or do any outside work on your house or lawn
  2. Not allow big tucks, buses, garbage trucks, anything that is loud to go in front of my house
  3. Not walk in front of my house, this causes my dog to bark
  4. Do not honk your horns
  5. No construction work, on the road or on other houses
  6. Keep your dogs from barking
  7. Disassemble the tornado sirens
  8. Mute all sirens for that matter
  9. Don't let your children play outside unless they use their inside voices
  10. And DO NOT, DO NOT ring my doorbell or even knock on my door.

That is all I ask of you, I don't think it's asking too much - do you?

Sincerely,

Jack's Mom

  1. OMG. Can you send this to my neighbors as well? We had a crew of guys cutting a tree down on our street during nap time today. They were also chipping it. It was wonderful.
