A while ago Tom and I were given Twins tickets for yesterdays game. We decided a few months ago when we got these tickets that this would be our anniversary celebration. So I booked my mom to come over and watch the boys and we headed down a little early. We ate in the stadium at Townpark Tavern or something?! It was delish. We split nachos and a Murray's steak sandwich. MMMMMMM. It was a GORGEOUS night for an outdoor baseball game and it is so much better than sitting in the dome, no question. We walked around the entire stadium and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Seriously. Since last night was game 6 in the NHL, we kept a close watch on the score. Chicago was winning with 12 minutes left in the 3rd period, so we opted to leave the game an inning early to try and catch the tail end of the NHL game at home just in case Chicago won the Stanley Cup. Tom definitely did not want to miss that. Luckily we made it home in time to see the overtime and Tom got to watch the big ol celebration. Go Hawks! It was a wonderful night! Oh and my mom said the boys were great. However, I forgot to warn her that Jack has been singing to himself to sleep. I forgot to mention some nights it lasts a long time. Last night he sang Twinkle Twinkle for TWO HOURS STRAIGHT before falling asleep. This kid is hilarious.
Here are some pictures taken from my iPhone at the game and the video is to let you hear what I hear all day long!
He's headed for GLEE club!
