My 27th Birthday

I had a fabulous 27th birthday! The day started out with Tom staying home for breakfast. Usually he's gone by 5:30 AM, so this was a real treat. He also got me a new coat. It's a Patagonia and I LOVE it! I didn't think I would ever buy a different brand than North Face, but I have to admit - I like this better!

Then Alissa stopped over and we had coffee and I let Jack open the gift she brought for me. Fun jammies for Mexico and a Caribou gift card! Perfecto! She then got to eat plastic food with Jack. ha ha.

Then my mother-in-law came over and gave me a super cute beach bag for our trip, which I didn't snap a picture of and also a super cute necklace and earrings.

The boys were pretty good for me during the day. Finn was still a little sick, but he was in good enough spirits to go to my parents house for Chinese food and cookie cake! My parents got me a new camera lens and my brother got me a new camera strap! Whoo hooo. Tom came over to my parent's house after his hockey practice. When we got home, he had flowers waiting for me on the kitchen table. I love him!

My good friend, Elissa, is going back to Virginia with her two boys tomorrow. We will miss her so much. We hope that within the next few years her family can move back home to MN and we can be more a part of their lives. It's fun to see her life through her blog though, good ole technology!
