Thanks for all the love about wanting to continue reading! I got a lot of emails asking me why I wanted to change the settings to private. I have quite a few responses. First off, Tom is not a huge fan of sharing our lives on the internet. He rolls his eyes with every new post I create. He gets why I like to do it, but sometimes I understand where he is coming from. Just a few months ago when I gave up facebook for a while, I started questioning this whole internet communication. Like, is it really necessary for so many people to know what you are doing and thinking every single day? I started to realize how easy it was for me to comment on something on facebook, but would I even be having a conversation with this person in "real" life? I obviously love facebook for many reasons and would never quit altogether, but it's changed my usage on there to say the least. At the same time I started thinking about my blog. Am I sharing too much information? Are there creepy people stealing my pictures of the boys? Or me? Or Tom? ha ha. I thought about watermarking my pictures, but that wouldn't really do anything. To sum up, I think knowing that I have invited all of my readers to read my blog (some I know, some I do not know but read their blogs) it will make me more focused on writing things for me and my family versus holding back some stuff because I don't really know who is reading my blog. But let's be honest - it wasn't a lot of people from the start anyway. And I love finding new random blogs to read - which is what has held me back from making mine private. But it's what I'm going to do at this time.
So with that said - look forward to more pictures, more videos, and much more Molly. And if for whatever reason you want to share this blog with others, just give me their email address and I will add them to the list.

i think about making my blog private all the time! I just havent done it yet. I hesitate for the same reasons and want to do it for the same reasons. Lots of creepers out there, but then I love reading some random people's blogs.

I don't think it's dumb at all. I have thought about it before too. If joe gets wind of the possibility of it being private, then he'll make me do it for sure...but I think it's a good idea and will probably eventually do it myself.
