- Jack has been waking up at about 6 AM for the past week. Luckily, he comes right into our bed and usually goes back to sleep. If Tom is up and getting dressed, there is no way Jack will go back to bed. So Tom either has to be out the door or still sleeping in order for me not to lose my cool. I am NOT a morning person. Although I really, really wish I was.
- The Easter Bunny brought Jack a t-ball set and a bike this year. The weather hasn't been nice enough to bring the bike outside. Although we probably will bring it out this afternoon or tonight. We were playing with the t-ball set yesterday in the front yard and I completely underestimated Jack. He fricken whaled the plastic ball like two yards away. He then proceeded to play hockey and golf with the bat and ball. Finn just chased the ball like a puppy all afternoon. Jack thought it was the funniest thing.
- Jack has been using his imagination a lot lately and calling all of us animals and toys instead of our names. For example "Finn's a toothbrush, I'm toothpaste. Daddy's a snake..." One day I asked "Jack, what's Grandma Loney" his answer? "Grandma Loney's a cow" HAHAHA. Tom and I just busted out laughing. He obviously had no intention of calling my mom fat (which she is not by the way) but it just sounded hilarious.
- Finn is obsessed with the song head and shoulders. It is beyond cute watching him do the actions. Jack of course has to come over and rain on our parade every time because he thinks head and shoulders should be sung at the top of his lungs and as fast as humanly possible. This will be my next video attempt.
- Every night I say prayers with Jack. We always start with this one (but change the word day to night). Then we sing the shark song. And then sometimes Jack wants to say his dinner prayer at bedtime too. HA. What a hoot.
- I might attempt taking the boys for a run this afternoon. The 5K is next weekend and I haven't ran in a few weeks. I've been taking a boat load of fitness classes at Lifetime so I'm not terribly concerned, I mean anyone can run a 5K, right? ha ha. Right.
- I'm also just realizing I never posted any of our Easter pictures. I will leave you with our family a day before Easter picture. We had a total of 4 egg hunts on Easter weekend. Jack never got tired of them.
