34 Week Update

Well, here I am. Huge as ever. Waddling? Check. Peeing every 5 seconds? Check. Groin twinges? Check. Feeling like the head is going to fall out? Check. Definitely at the end of pregnancy.

I am officially up 22 lbs. Not horrible, but it's not like I'm excited about it either. Baby's head is still down, hoping it stays that way. The dr said sometimes little buggers can flip last second. I think by 36 weeks, it's locked and loaded. haha.

We got a part time babysitter for this summer and she started this week. When I say part time, I'm talking like 6-8 hours a week tops. But those few hours of freedom feel fricken amazing. It doesn't feel amazing having to swing through the cash machine every week, but you know what? Some things in life are just worth splurging on and for the sake of my family and my sanity, we decided this would be ok. The boys LOVE her, Kathryn, is her name. Yesterday after my doctor's apt I had 2.5 hours to do whatever the flip I wanted to. I sat outside at Starbucks for a while and then I ventured over to Babies R Us and got the rest of the essentials for #3's arrival. Holy buckets I forgot how small newborn diapers are. Oh my goodness people! SO sweet. I bought some bomb diggity breathable swaddle blankets, some nuks, some breast milk storage bags, a play yard mat, yadda yadda yadda. The newborn clothes are in the washing machine right now being washed with Dreft detergent. Which by the way, I've never bought before. Good lord, it smells heavenly. Like total baby smell. I want to wash my clothes in Dreft and smell like a newborn baby. And we FINALLY got the nursery complete last weekend. Want to see pictures?????

It's Leo. No turning back now.

The awkward cubby.

Organized closets make me smile. Notice the blanket on the rocker - LOVE it!

Jack finished up his first year of preschool today. I loved his school and I am so happy we decided to send him. He will definitely miss it this summer. But hopefully t-ball/soccer, skating lessons, and my parent's pool will keep him busy! Here is a picture of him and his best friend, Preston.
