- I bought a canvas portrait of Leo through a groupon. I have two amazing canvases of Jack and Finn and I wanted one of Leo so I can hang them on the wall going up the stairs together. I purchased this canvas on 12/30. It still has not arrived. On Wednesday the tracking said that it was in St. Paul at 5:30 AM, which is like 30 minutes from my house. It arrived in my city that afternoon at like 4 PM. Tom was like, was it traveling by horse? You'd think that it would have arrived yesterday to my door, but NO I'm STILL waiting on it! Yesterday I swear the Fedex gods were mocking me. Like 25 trucks drove by my house all day long.
- Finn has yet to show any interest in hockey. He's never even picked up a stick to shoot with Jack and Tom. He said in the car the other day that he would go skating if he had a buzz helmet. Tom's like - find a Buzz helmet. haha. So I purchased one from Ebay for $10 (a bike helmet) we shall see if this gets him to the rink and how he does at skating. Finn is so little and so quick that whatever he takes up, he's going to be fast as lightning. How can he not when he is three years old and weighs all of 25 pounds?
- This week I've been doing a free week at CorePower yoga. I really really enjoy it. I'm thinking of dropping my Lifetime membership and starting yoga. It's such a different workout than what I'm used to, but I think it could be really cool. Jury is still out on this one though.
- We've been playing the matching game around here like 25,000 times a day. Is it just me or does that game have a ridiculous amount of cards? Luckily, we've lost a few along the way, but still it's a ton of cards. Jack and Finn are really good at it too. Like, I have to legitimately try to win and Jack still beats me. Both of the kids have gotten the hang of knowing if a card has a rip or something which one it is. It's been pretty fun actually to see their minds in action. Finn is SO flipping cute when he plays. He is cheering and clapping whenever anyone gets a match. Then there's Jack who's like YOU CHEAT! when I get a match. I love winning because it teaches Jack that he can't win all of the time. ha. Also, I'm competitive. haha.
Happy Weekending!
Love CorePower. Went nearly 30 days in a row last year and I've never felt more strong or lean.
ReplyDeleteSomeday when I magically am not on kid duty from 5 am - 6 pm I shall return! Or maybe I need to convince myself to be a night person and go at 8? Eh, no :)
Which CPY are you going to? I've been to most of the studios over the years.
I'm not sure if my email to you went through or not. I go to the new maple grove core power yoga. I signed up for the monthly membership. I plan to get ripped to the core. ha!
Deleteoooo...yoga? I have done some from p90x and it was tough!!! I have been expecting a package too and it is now a week late...and the post office has it! UGHH! Isn't it crazy how different the boys can be? Finn may be into it someday as he gets bigger and can join Jack! We have yet to get the boys into sports...kinda hard with a dad that doesn't do much with sports! T-ball for sure this year though.
ReplyDeleteYes it will be so interesting to see what Finn takes to, no interest in hockey yet. Your boys will take to something whether it be sports or not. Tom's dad didn't have any knowledge about hockey when he started playing. I'm happy you are blogging again. I'm so hot and cold when it comes to this thing. Tom is definitely anti, so that makes it harder for me to be all gung-ho about it. But I love the interaction with my distant friends!
Deleteum. hello molly. it seems that you've been blogging again now for, well, let's see...since NOVEMBER!!!...and i had no freaking idea. i've been in total withdrawls from your witty humor and hilarious stories...suffering for no reason, come to find out! i will now devote my next month to catching up with the starkey family. how did i miss your return (said while shaking my head!)
ReplyDeletealso, core power yoga = heaven.
Ali - I have been doing it privately!!!!!!! ha! Tom is SOOOO anti blogging it's ridiculous. So I started a private one. Then I missed the interaction so I made this one public, but I added my entire old blog to this blog so it's all under one (if that makes sense) but now I need a shnazzy background like yours!
DeleteAli - did you ever take the sculpt classes? OMG I took my first one on Saturday and about died!
